63The term "Intelligence Quotient" refers to a score that reflects a person's cognitive abilities according to standardized testing. Anyone with Internet access via a home computer or handheld device can take free IQ tests online. Scoring varies from test to test, but a score of 100 is widely considered "average." Adults interested in testing their own IQ should write multiple tests over a period of time to get as broad a picture as possible.
You can test your IQ online.
Step 1
Open a window using your Internet browser and type in the following URL: TheFreeIQTest.com.
Step 2
Answer the questions as they appear on the screen. When finished, you will be presented with your IQ score.
Step 3
Obtain a second opinion. Open another window in your browser and enter the following URL: http://www.mensa.org/workout.
Step 4
Click on the on-screen area with an arrow on it beside which is written the words, "Start Quiz". Answer the questions as they appear on your screen. It is ideal to time yourself and attempt to answer all the questions within 30 minutes.
Step 5
Consider having your intelligence professionally tested. Using the link found in the resource page, it should be possible to to find a psychologist who can administer an official test.
