Garvin David Boyle has been writing since 1995.   He has been published in The Ottawa Citizen, The Toronto Star, and online at The BBC.  He spent several years working as a media analyst attached to the Prime Minister's Office of Canada.  After a stint overseas teaching ESL in South Korea, he now consults on communications and supplements his income with freelance work online.
